This course provides a foundational understanding of core data concepts and how data solutions are implemented using Microsoft Azure. It is designed for individuals who want to build knowledge in data workloads, relational and non-relational databases, and modern analytics solutions in the cloud.
Participants will explore different types of data workloads including transactional, analytical, and streaming systems. The course introduces essential data processing concepts such as batch and stream processing, along with data visualization and reporting techniques used for business insights.
Learners will gain practical knowledge of Azure relational data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and Azure Database for MySQL. They will also understand non-relational data solutions including Azure Cosmos DB and its APIs for handling key-value, document, and graph data models. Core management tasks such as backup, restore, performance tuning, scalability, and security are also covered.
In addition, the course explains modern analytics workloads on Azure, including big data processing, real-time analytics, and data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.
By the end of this course, learners will have a strong foundation in cloud data concepts and Azure data services, preparing them for entry-level data roles or Azure data certification exams.
